Metallurgy

Metallurgy and iron and steel industry constitute an area with specific demands on rollers. Technological processes require not only structural strength, but also abrasive resistance of the roller material, and the rollers must also be chemically resistant to aggressive environment. The production and repair of rollers for metallurgy often require also additional works on the metal core of the roller - typical characteristics of rollers intended for iron and steel industry include complicated assembly / disassembly of bearings, rubberized roller ends and pivots, special allowances in the bearing beddings and quenching.
